OFFSTED REPORT:
“Helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do
Children enjoy a range of well planned activities, sport, art and craft and games. They are self-assured and content in the camp's happy busy environment. Children of all ages are involved and interested in their play.
They are well supported by the staff who become actively involved with children. For example, older children enjoyed working as a team and developed good skills when they played the cricket match.
Children enjoy the dance and drama session confidently showing the steps they could do. They also enjoy painting the plates with a good variety of colours and creating their own ideas and designs in the art and craft room.
Children are able to relax in the camp and choose either quiet activities, reading or vigorous play outside depending on the individual needs and interests. Staff choose activities, toys and games thoughtfully bearing in mind the varying ages and interests of the children in the group. Younger and older children get along well together and this is promoted by supportive staff.”
