Packed Lunch – lunch box recommendations

Children must bring packed lunch and a water bottle with them. Aktiva will provide drinks at break time. Children are encouraged to drink water throughout the day to avoid dehydration.

Please note: We are usually able to provide refrigeration for lunches, however we still advise you use an insulated and air tight container for lunches.

What to wear

Children are encouraged to wear loose fitting and comfortable clothes that give manoeuvrability and protection.

In sunny periods we would advise children to wear hats and have sun screen on when they arrive at Aktiva.

We will provide additional sun screen for the day to protect children. Please let us know in advance if your child is sensitive to particular products. When the weather is particularly cold or wet, the children will remain in the indoor areas.

Please label all of your child’s belongings including drinks bottles, lunch boxes and bags. If there are any special dietary needs or requirements please ensure the staff on duty are notified.
